Monokristályos refers to a material composed of a single, continuous crystal lattice. In optics, they are used for lenses, prisms, and laser rods due to their transparency and specific refractive properties. High-performance turbine blades in jet engines are often made from single crystals to withstand extreme temperatures and stresses, maximizing their lifespan and efficiency.
