MikroF1 is a proposed class of miniature Formula 1–style racing cars designed for amateur and educational use. The concept centers on scaled-down, safe, electric-powered single-seaters intended to run on closed circuits with standardized parts to lower maintenance costs and simplify competition.

The idea emerged among hobbyist clubs and technical schools in Europe and North America during the early 2020s as a way to introduce high-performance racing concepts at lower risk and expense. Proponents describe MikroF1 as a practical stepping-stone for students and hobbyists, bridging traditional karting and full-size formula racing.

Vehicles typically feature a reinforced safety cell, roll protection, energy-absorbing bumpers, and an electric powertrain with restricted output. Chassis dimensions and electronics are standardized to promote parity, while suspension, brakes, and tires are tuned for predictable handling on short circuits. Races use short sprint formats with timed laps or heat races to determine overall results.
