miRNP
miRNP, or microRNA processing body, is a ribonucleoprotein complex involved in the biogenesis of microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs are small non-coding RNAs that play a crucial role in gene regulation by targeting messenger RNAs (mRNAs) for degradation or translational repression. The miRNP complex is responsible for the processing of primary miRNA transcripts (pri-miRNAs) into precursor miRNAs (pre-miRNAs) and ultimately into mature miRNAs.
The miRNP complex consists of several proteins, including Drosha, a ribonuclease III enzyme that processes pri-miRNAs
The miRNP complex is essential for the proper functioning of the miRNA pathway and is involved in
