Magnetizáltságot, often translated as magnetization, is a vector quantity that describes the extent to which a material becomes magnetized. It represents the density of magnetic dipoles within a material. In ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, magnetization can persist even after the external field is removed, leading to permanent magnets. Paramagnetic materials exhibit a weak magnetization in the direction of the applied field, which disappears when the field is removed. Diamagnetic materials are weakly magnetized in the opposite direction to the applied field. The relationship between magnetization, the external magnetic field, and the material's properties is often described by magnetic susceptibility, which quantifies how easily a material can be magnetized.
