macroRAFT

MacroRAFT is a technique used in materials science for the synthesis of polymers with controlled architectures. It is an extension of Reversible Addition-Fragmentation chain Transfer (RAFT) polymerization, a widely used method for creating polymers with precise molecular weights, low polydispersities, and complex structures. MacroRAFT specifically refers to the preparation of macroinitiators or macro-chain transfer agents (macroCTAs) through a RAFT process.

These macroRAFT agents are pre-formed polymer chains that contain a RAFT functional group.
