Maadoitussilmukka, also known as a ground loop or earth loop, is a phenomenon that can occur in electrical systems, particularly those involving multiple interconnected grounds. It arises when there are two or more paths to ground for a signal, creating a potential difference between these ground points. This difference can cause unwanted currents to flow through the signal path, leading to noise, hum, or even signal distortion.
