lõpppakendi
Lõpppakend, or final packaging, is a term used in packaging science and waste management to denote the outermost packaging layer that accompanies a product throughout its distribution and is typically the packaging that the consumer encounters at the point of sale. It is the packaging that is intended to reach the end consumer and, after product use, becomes packaging waste. Lõpppakend serves several functions: protecting the product during handling and transport, conveying branding and product information, and facilitating stacking, display, and shelf life. In the common Estonian classification of packaging levels, lõpppakend sits alongside esmepakend (primary packaging) and teisepakend
Regulatory context: Lõpppakend is subject to packaging and packaging waste regulations at both EU and national
