Lävendipõhine, meaning “based on a threshold,” is a term used to describe a method or decision rule that depends on a defined threshold value. Limitations include sensitivity to the chosen threshold, potential bias, and reduced performance when data distributions change. Proper design often involves validation, calibration, and, if needed, dynamic or context-aware thresholds to maintain robustness.
