lähettiRNAa
lähettiRNAa, often abbreviated as mRNA, is a crucial molecule in molecular biology. It serves as a messenger carrying genetic instructions from DNA to the ribosomes, the cellular machinery responsible for protein synthesis. DNA, the permanent blueprint of genetic information, is located in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells. mRNA is transcribed from a DNA template in the nucleus. This process involves an enzyme called RNA polymerase, which reads the DNA sequence and creates a complementary mRNA strand.
Once synthesized, the mRNA molecule travels out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm. Here, it encounters ribosomes.
