luokkaasteella
Luokkaasteella is a Finnish term that can be translated to "grade level" or "class level" in English. It refers to the specific year or stage of schooling a student is in within the Finnish education system. The Finnish school system is structured into comprehensive school (peruskoulu), which typically lasts for nine years, starting from around age 7. Students progress through these years in sequential luokkaasteilla, from luokka 1 to luokka 9.
After completing comprehensive school, students can choose to continue to either upper secondary general education (lukio)
