ljumgarna

Ljumgarna is the Swedish term for the groin region, the area where the lower abdomen meets the upper thigh. In medical and anatomical usage, it corresponds to the inguinal region and is also used in everyday language to refer to this area.

The ljumgarna encompass the groin crease and surrounding tissues and serve as a passage for structures moving between the abdomen and the leg.
