Lipofiilis is a term that appears in some Finnish-language contexts to refer to lipophilia, the chemical tendency of a substance to associate with lipids or fat-soluble environments. The form lipofiilis follows the pattern of words built with the suffix -fiili, but in scientific usage the more common Finnish terms are lipofili or lipofilia, and lipofiilis is not widely used in standard literature.

In science, lipophilicity denotes the affinity of molecules for lipid or nonpolar environments. It is a key property that influences how substances behave in living systems and in the environment. Lipophilicity affects solubility in fats versus water, permeability through cell membranes, distribution within the body, and the potential for bioaccumulation.
