Lipiidirikkad is a Finnish term that translates to "rich in lipids" or "fatty" in English. It is used to describe foods, substances, or biological tissues that contain a high proportion of lipids, which are a group of naturally occurring molecules that include fats, waxes, sterols, fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamins A, D, E, and K), monoglycerides, diglycerides, triglycerides, and phospholipids.

In a dietary context, lipiidirikkad foods are those that provide a significant amount of fat. Examples include nuts, seeds, avocados, oily fish like salmon and mackerel, and dairy products such as butter and cheese.
