Linnamastikule is an ancient hill fort located in Estonia, in the eastern part of the country. It is situated approximately 70 kilometers northeast of the city of Jõgeva. Archaeological evidence suggests that the site dates back to the 13th century, specifically to the Medieval period of Estonian history.

The hill fort is built on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape. Its layout features a complex network of ramparts and ditches, indicating a securely fortified design. The structure's walls are constructed from earth and wood, with some sections possibly using stone as a secondary material. Linnamastikule's defensive system may have included at least one gatehouse and guard towers.

Due to the site's remote location and potential destruction during the 13th century, archaeological research has faced difficulties. Nonetheless, various studies suggest that the hill fort may have served several purposes, including the control of entry to the nearby terrain and protection against neighboring clans. Additionally, it's likely that Linnamastikule functioned as a place of religious or spiritual significance, given the layers of artifacts uncovered in its vicinity.

The site's provenance has been connected to the German occupation and control over Estonia during the Teutonic Crusade in the 13th century. While various reports indicate the site's date and significance, much remains unclear due to limited research and additional data.
