Likle is a constructed language created for a fictional science-fiction setting. Developed by a collaborative online project, it aims to be transparent to learners and relatively regular. The language is described as agglutinative, with a subject–verb–object base order and extensive affixation to mark tense, mood, aspect, case, and number.

Phonology and writing: Likle uses a phonemic inventory of eighteen consonants and five vowels. Stress typically falls on the penultimate syllable. The writing system is a Latin-based alphabet with diacritics to indicate vowel quality and, in some dialects, tone. Orthography seeks close phoneme-to-script correspondence.
