Leoba, also spelled Lioba, is the Latinized name of an Anglo-Saxon nun associated with the early Christian mission in the Frankish Empire. In Western Christian tradition she is venerated as a saint and is closely linked with Saint Boniface, the missionary archbishop who organized the church in parts of present-day Germany during the 8th century.
