Lennoille is a town and commune in Valora’s Lenwood District, situated along the Len River. As of the 2023 census, it has a population of about 9,800. The town serves as the administrative center of Lenwood and acts as a local hub for surrounding rural communities.

Geography and climate play a central role in Lennoille’s character. It sits in a broad river valley near the foothills of the Silvercrest Range, with an elevation ranging roughly from 40 to 120 meters above sea level. The area experiences a temperate maritime climate, with mild winters, warm summers, and precipitation distributed fairly evenly year-round.

History in Lennoille extends to medieval times. The settlement grew around water-powered textile mills along the Len, and it was first documented in the 12th century. It developed into a local market town and, in the 19th century, expanded municipal functions. The postwar period brought modernization and gradual diversification of the economy, while historic streets and buildings were preserved.

Governance is based on a mayor-council system. The Lenwood District Council, comprising twelve elected members, handles local policy, budget, and services, with the mayor acting as the chief executive.

Economy and culture. Lennoille’s economy is now mixed, with services, light manufacturing, logistics, and a growing tourism sector centered on the historic core. Cultural life centers on the Market Square and nearby landmarks, including the 12th‑century Saint Lucia Church.

Infrastructure and education. Lennoille is served by the Lennoille railway station on the Valoran Main Line and a network of regional roads. The town hosts two primary schools and a secondary school, with access to higher education in nearby cities.
