Parentheses (or brackets) are always evaluated first. Following that, exponents (or orders) are calculated. Then, multiplication and division are performed from left to right. Finally, addition and subtraction are carried out, also from left to right. This specific order ensures that complex expressions are broken down into manageable steps, leading to the correct solution regardless of who is performing the calculation.
