Kávés is a Hungarian term that can function as an adjective or, in informal speech, as a noun. It is derived from kávé, meaning coffee, and denotes something related to or flavored with coffee. As an adjective, kávés is used to describe beverages, foods, or contexts involving coffee, such as kávés ital (a coffee-based drink) or kávés íz (coffee flavor). In colloquial use, kávés may also refer to a person who drinks coffee or who is closely associated with coffee, as in the phrase egy kávés, though this usage is informal and less common in formal writing.
