Kymmeniin is a Finnish grammatical form used with numerals to indicate movement into a quantity category of tens. It is the illative plural form of the numeral kymmenet/kymmeniä and is formed with the illative plural suffix -iin attached to the stem kymmen-. The form is mainly found in written Finnish, especially in formal, statistical, or economic contexts, and it is less common in casual speech.

In practice, kymmeniin is used with a noun in illative case to denote “into tens of X” or “to tens of X.” Common collocations include kymmeniin euroihin (into tens of euros) and kymmeniin tuhansiin (into tens of thousands). It is often found in expressions describing targets, thresholds, or large approximate sums, such as mennä kymmeniin (to rise into tens) or to describe outcomes that reach into a high-range category.

Kymmeniin contrasts with kymmeniä, which is the partitive plural used to indicate an approximate quantity without directional nuance (e.g., kymmeniä ihmisiä = dozens of people). The illative form kymmeniin thus carries a sense of motion toward a numerical threshold.
