kuulmeluude
Kuulmeluude, known scientifically as the malleus, is one of the three tiny ossicles found in the middle ear of mammals, including humans. It is the outermost and largest of these three bones, situated between the tympanic membrane (eardrum) and the incus. The malleus is hammer-shaped, which is reflected in its name, as "malleus" is Latin for hammer.
The primary function of the malleus is to transmit sound vibrations from the eardrum to the incus.
