Kuluttajavirasto, or the Consumer Agency, was a Finnish government authority dedicated to protecting consumers’ interests and promoting fair and safe consumer markets. Its work included informing and advising consumers and businesses about rights and obligations, helping consumers resolve disputes, and supervising compliance with consumer protection rules. The agency also monitored practices related to advertising, contract terms, product safety, and labeling to prevent misleading or dangerous conduct in the market.
