Krachtbal is a team sport originating from Belgium, specifically Flanders, that combines elements of volleyball and handball. It is played on a court divided by a net, similar to volleyball. The game is played with a ball that is typically larger and softer than a handball but smaller than a volleyball. Teams consist of a set number of players, usually six, who rotate positions on the court. Players can advance the ball by passing, throwing, or hitting it. Unlike volleyball, players can catch and throw the ball, but they are generally not allowed to hold it for more than three seconds.
