Koulukuntien is a Finnish term used to describe schools of thought or intellectual traditions within education, philosophy, and the social sciences. A koulukunta gathers theories, methods, and practices around a shared set of assumptions about learning and teaching. They are not fixed institutions but evolving frameworks that influence research, curriculum design, teacher education, and classroom practice.
