Kompozitgyártási refers to the manufacturing processes involved in creating composite materials. These materials are formed by combining two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties. The individual components retain their identities and distinct characteristics within the finished structure, resulting in a material with properties superior to those of the individual components. The primary goal of composite manufacturing is to strategically arrange these constituent materials, typically a reinforcement embedded within a matrix, to achieve desired performance characteristics.

Common reinforcement materials include fibers such as glass, carbon, or aramid, which provide strength and stiffness. The matrix, often a polymer resin like epoxy or polyester, binds the reinforcement together, transfers loads to it, and protects it from environmental degradation.
