Kolonniin is a term used in architectural discourse to refer to a column or a column-like support element, particularly when used in a row to form a colonnade. The term can denote both the structural member and the visual language of columnar supports within a space. In classical and neoclassical design, kolonniin elements contribute to rhythm, scale, and light control, defining walkways, porticoes, and interior aisles.

A kolonniin element typically consists of a vertical shaft, a capital, and a base. Shafts may be smooth or fluted, and capitals may range from simple to ornate, depending on the decorative vocabulary of the style.
