Practice: The centerpiece is a circular procession around a central fire, accompanied by drums, flutes, and chimes. Participants wear dyed woven robes and exchange songs and stories as they move. A communal meal follows, featuring kolipazy bread—a round loaf flavored with sesame and herbs that symbolizes unity. In some communities, crafts stalls and night markets accompany the ritual.
