Kohaten, also known as Kohaeten, is a rural municipality in the Apayao Province of Philippines. It is located in the Cordillera Administrative Region and has a total area of approximately 275.10 square kilometers. As of the 2020 census, the municipality had a population of 5,786 people.

Kohaten is situated about 20 kilometers from the provincial capital of Kabugao, with its town center located at around 460 meters above sea level. The municipality is nestled within a rugged terrain and surrounded by various mountain ranges.
