kofeiinia
Kofeiinia is the natural stimulant compound better known in English as caffeine. It is a member of the methylxanthine class and occurs in a variety of plants, most notably Coffea species (coffee), Camellia sinensis (tea), Theobroma cacao (cacao), and Paullinia cupana (guarana). Its chemical formula is C8H10N4O2, and it is chemically described as 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine. Caffeine was first isolated in 1819 by the German chemist Friedrich Ferdinand Runge.
Occurrence and uses: Caffeine is widely consumed in beverages such as coffee, tea, and many soft drinks,
Pharmacology and effects: Caffeine acts mainly by antagonizing adenosine receptors A1 and A2A in the brain,
Pharmacokinetics and safety: After ingestion, caffeine is rapidly absorbed with peak blood levels typically within 30–60
