Kasina, also known as gasing or congklak in different regions of Southeast Asia, is a traditional board game played by two people. The game is played on a wooden board with a series of small pits, typically 7 pits on each side, and two larger pits at each end, known as the "stores" or "houses." Each player controls the pits on their side of the board.

The objective of Kasina is to capture more seeds than the opponent. The game begins with a set number of seeds, usually four, placed in each small pit. Players take turns scooping up all the seeds from one of their pits and distributing them one by one into subsequent pits, moving counter-clockwise. If a player's last seed lands in their own store, they get another turn. If it lands in an empty pit on their side, they capture that pit's seeds and any seeds in the opponent's pit directly opposite. The game ends when all pits on one side are empty, and the player with the most seeds in their store wins.

Kasina is a game of strategy and foresight, requiring players to plan their moves carefully to maximize seed capture and prevent their opponent from doing so. It is a popular pastime in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, often played during social gatherings and festivals.
