jamissüsteeme
Jamissüsteeme is a modular framework designed for the rapid integration of distributed sensor networks within industrial automation environments. It was first introduced in 2013 by Jami Technologies, a Finnish company specializing in plant control systems. The core aim of Jamissüsteemi is to standardize communication protocols, data formats and security policies so that heterogeneous devices can exchange information without custom adapters. The system is built around a lightweight message bus that supports both publish–subscribe and request–response interactions. Each sensor or actuator registers itself with the Jamissüsteemi registry, providing a description of its capabilities and data schemas. The framework then automatically generates a RESTful API endpoint, allowing legacy SCADA systems to access sensor values in real time.
Jamissüsteemi relies on a combination of OPC UA, MQTT and JSON‑Schema for data exchange, and includes built‑in
In its early versions, performance bottlenecks were noted when handling more than ten thousand concurrent MQTT
