Jaala is a Finnish toponym most notably associated with a former municipality in southern Finland. It was located in the historical Päijänne Tavastia region and is now part of the city of Hämeenlinna in the modern Kanta-Häme region. Jaala existed as an independent municipality until 1 January 2009, when it was consolidated with Hämeenlinna.
