ISPO stands for Initial Public Stakeholder Offering. It is a crowdfunding mechanism that allows companies to raise capital by selling tokens to their community and stakeholders. Instead of directly selling tokens for cryptocurrency or fiat, projects conducting an ISPO typically allow users to delegate their existing stake in a blockchain network, such as Cardano, to a specific stake pool operated by the project. In return for delegating their stake, participants receive the project's native tokens.
