Isophorone diisocyanate, often abbreviated as IPDI, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H18N2O2. IPDI exists as a mixture of isomers, primarily the cis and trans forms. At room temperature, it is typically a colorless to slightly yellowish liquid with a characteristic odor.
