Invertorites are a hypothetical class of exotic matter that possess negative mass. This theoretical concept arises from extensions to Einstein's theory of general relativity and general economic principles. Unlike normal matter which has positive mass and is attracted by gravity, invertorites would theoretically be repelled by gravitational forces. This means that a mass of invertorites would fall upwards in a gravitational field.

The existence of negative mass is purely speculative at this time.
