interfacialilmiöitä
Interfacialilmiöitä, or interfacial phenomena, refer to the physical and chemical processes that occur at the boundary between two different phases. These phases can be solid-solid, solid-liquid, liquid-liquid, liquid-gas, or even solid-gas. The unique behavior observed at these interfaces is a result of the unbalanced forces acting on the molecules or atoms at the boundary compared to those within the bulk of each phase.
Surface tension is a prime example of an interfacial phenomenon, particularly at a liquid-gas interface. It
