Inteligibil is an adjective used in Romanian to describe something that can be understood or is clear enough to be comprehended. It corresponds to the English intelligible and to related terms in other Romance languages, such as Italian intelligibile and French intelligible. The root is Latin intelligibilis, from intelligere, meaning to understand.

In linguistics and communication, intelligibility refers to the ease with which a message can be understood by a listener or reader. Inteligibil as a descriptor covers both written text and spoken discourse, and is influenced by factors such as sentence structure, vocabulary, punctuation, typography, and, in spoken form, pronunciation, pace, and background noise. Measurements of intelligibility include readability formulas for text, such as the Flesch Reading Ease or Gunning Fog Index in English-language contexts, as well as perceptual or objective speech intelligibility tests in acoustics.

Inteligibil is used across education, media, accessibility, and translation to indicate clarity of expression.
