Integreeritususest is an Estonian term used in sociology, political science and related fields to refer to the study and discussion of the process by which individuals, groups, or systems become integrated into a broader social, economic or organizational framework. The word integreeritus derives from the verb integreerima (to integrate); the form integreeritususest is the genitive case used in academic and policy writing to denote “about integration” or “of the integration process.”

In social contexts, integreeritusus covers how people acquire language skills, access employment, education and housing, and participate in civic life, while recognizing ongoing cultural or identity differences. It is often contrasted with assimilation, which implies the loss of distinct group characteristics, and with multiculturalism, which emphasizes coexistence of multiple identities without full unification.

Policy and research use integreeritusus to analyze integration outcomes and to evaluate programs intended to improve inclusion. Common indicators include employment rates among migrant or minority populations, language proficiency, educational attainment, social network breadth, and residents’ sense of belonging. Debates in this area frequently address the balance between universal rights and targeted support, the role of institutions, and the effects of discrimination or segregation on integration.

In organizational and technological contexts, the term can also refer to the integration of systems, processes or data across components to ensure interoperability and coherent operation.
