Instalowane is a Polish word that functions as a present passive participle of the verb instalować (to install). It can be used as an adjective or a participle and expresses that something is in the process of being installed, or that it is described as subject to installation, depending on context and grammar.

Grammatically, instalowane agrees with the noun it modifies in gender and number. It is commonly found with neuter nouns such as urządzenie (device) or oprogramowanie (software) in phrases like "urządzenie instalowane" or "oprogramowanie instalowane." It can also form a predicate construction with the verb być: "to jest instalowane" (this is being installed).

In technology and documentation, instalowane appears frequently to indicate ongoing steps during deployment, setup, or updates. Examples include "aktualizacje instalowane w nocy" (updates installed during the night) or "oprogramowanie instalowane automatycznie" (software installed automatically). Instalowane is distinct from zainstalowane, which denotes a completed state ("installed"). It is also used in contrast to expressions for installability or readiness, which require other constructions such as "do zainstalowania" or "instalowalny."
