Ihonärritus, also known as skin irritation, refers to an inflammatory reaction of the skin that can be caused by a variety of external factors. It is a common condition characterized by redness, itching, burning, and sometimes swelling. The severity of ihonärritus can range from mild discomfort to a more pronounced and persistent rash.

Common causes of ihonärritus include contact with irritants or allergens. Irritants are substances that directly damage the skin's protective barrier, leading to inflammation.
