Identtiseen is the illative singular form of the Finnish adjective identtinen, meaning "identical". In Finnish grammar the illative case expresses movement into or direction toward something; when an adjective modifies a noun in that case, the adjective takes the matching illative ending and agrees in number and case with the noun. Thus identtinen becomes identtiseen when used with a singular noun in the illative (for example, identtiseen huoneeseen — "into the identical room").
