Hebraicus is a Latin adjective meaning "Hebrew" or "of Hebrew origin," used in historical, linguistic, and scholarly contexts to indicate relation to the Hebrew language, people, or culture. In classical and medieval Latin it appears in phrases such as textus hebraicus (Hebrew text) and lingua hebraica (the Hebrew language). The feminine form hebraica is employed with feminine nouns, as in Biblia Hebraica (the Hebrew Bible) and lingua hebraica.
