Hangszórókra, often translated as loudspeakers or speakers, are electroacoustic transducers that convert electrical energy into sound energy. They are fundamental components in a vast array of audio systems, from simple portable devices to complex home theaters and professional sound reinforcement.

The basic principle of operation for most loudspeakers involves an electromagnetic system. A voice coil, typically a cylindrical coil of wire, is suspended in a magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet. When an electrical audio signal is applied to the voice coil, it creates a fluctuating magnetic field that interacts with the permanent magnet's field. This interaction causes the voice coil, and any attached diaphragm or cone, to vibrate.

The vibrating diaphragm then moves the surrounding air, creating pressure waves that we perceive as sound. The frequency and amplitude of these vibrations, dictated by the input electrical signal, determine the pitch and loudness of the produced sound. Different types of loudspeakers exist, including dynamic speakers (the most common type), electrostatic speakers, ribbon speakers, and balanced armature drivers, each employing variations on this core principle to achieve specific sound characteristics and efficiency. Loudspeakers are essential for reproducing music, speech, and any other form of audio information.
