Hüperlinkide, or hyperlinks, are references embedded in a document that link to another document or to a specific location within the same document. They enable quick navigation across the web and other digital resources and are central to hypertext systems. In Estonian usage, hüperlinkide is the genitive plural form; the singular is hüperlink.

In the web, hyperlinks are most commonly created with the HTML anchor element, <a href="...">text</a>. The href attribute specifies the destination. Links may point to web pages, email addresses (mailto:), files, or internal anchors (#section). A link's content can be text, an image, or other media. Developers can influence how links open (same tab, new tab) and how they are announced to assistive technologies.

Types and practices: Internal links connect pages within the same site; external links navigate to other domains. Relative URLs are used for internal links; absolute URLs for external. Good practices include descriptive link text, avoiding "click here," ensuring keyboard accessibility, providing visible focus styles, and using appropriate rel attributes when opening in new tabs. Links also play a role in search engine optimization, reflecting site structure and authority, while mitigating security risks from phishing.
