A gårdsbutik (literally "farm shop" in Swedish) is a retail outlet located on or adjacent to an agricultural property where the producer sells foodstuffs and other goods directly to consumers. Commonly found in rural and peri-urban parts of Sweden, gårdsbutiker offer farm-produced items such as vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, dairy, preserves, baked goods, honey, flowers and plants, and may also stock complementary regional or artisan products from neighbouring producers.
