Gredigrad is a fictional city and administrative center of Valen Province in Nordmark. Located in the northern part of the country, it straddles the Greda River and serves as a regional hub for commerce, education, and culture. As of 2023, the city had an estimated population of about 84,000 residents.

The name Gredigrad combines an archaic root greda meaning "stone" or "barrier" with the Slavic-derived suffix -grad, meaning "city."

Gredigrad is first documented in 1148 as a fortress guarding river trade routes between inland settlements and the coast. It grew through medieval trade, expanded during the industrial era, and underwent restructuring after the mid-20th century, yielding a diversified economy.

Situated in a broad river valley surrounded by low hills, the city experiences a temperate continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. Annual precipitation averages around 650–750 millimeters, with most rain in late spring and early autumn.

Gredigrad is governed by a mayor-council system. The economy centers on logistics, manufacturing, and services, anchored by the river port, a regional rail hub, and the municipal university. Public health, education, and research institutions are major employers.

The city houses Gredigrad University (founded 1963), the medieval Old Town walls, the Gredigrad Cathedral, the City Museum, and the Riverfront Park. Cultural institutions include a symphony hall and a small but active theater scene.

Transportation links include Gredigrad Central Station on the national rail network, the A-sector highway, and Nordmark International Airport located 25 kilometers northeast. Local buses and cycling paths connect neighborhoods and industrial zones.
