Graftingtekniikat refers to various methods used in horticulture and agriculture to join tissues from two or more plants so that they continue to grow together. This process, known as grafting, allows for the propagation of desirable traits from a scion (the upper part of the graft, typically a shoot or bud) onto a rootstock (the lower part of the graft, providing the root system). Grafting is commonly employed to replicate specific fruit varieties, create ornamental plants with unique characteristics, or to improve disease resistance and vigor.
