Glacio is a combining form used in scientific terminology to denote a relationship to ice or glaciers. It derives from the Latin glaci-, from glacia, meaning ice, and it functions as a prefix or element in many technical terms. It is not typically used as an independent word in ordinary English.

In geology, geography, and related fields, glacio- appears in terms that describe processes, structures, or contexts involving ice. Examples include glaciology (the study of glaciers and ice sheets), glaciochronology (dating past events through ice-core records and glacier history), and glaciation (the process by which glaciers form, expand, and affect the landscape). The prefix also forms compounds such as glaciofluvial (relating to interactions between glaciers and rivers), glaciolacustrine (glacially influenced lake environments), glaciomarine (glacial influence on marine settings), and glaciovolcanism (interactions between glaciers and volcanic activity).
