The scope of geotopografi includes a range of surface characteristics such as elevation, slope, aspect, curvature, and the network of rivers and drainage patterns. It also covers landforms at different scales, from broad regional relief to microtopographic features like rills, depressions, or micro-depressions that influence drainage, microclimates, and habitat suitability. Methods for analyzing geotopografi rely on advances in geospatial technology.
