Genetiivipronomi refers to a grammatical phenomenon primarily found in Finnish, where certain pronouns take a genitive case form when they function as possessives or in specific idiomatic constructions. This is distinct from the standard personal pronoun forms. For instance, instead of saying "minun kirja" (my book) using the genitive of the noun, Finnish uses a genitive form of the personal pronoun itself, such as "minun" for "I," "sinun" for "you" (singular), and so on.
These genitive pronouns are used in several contexts. Most commonly, they indicate possession, acting as possessive
